It was great to see my long term client Luc in the studio this week for another session on his full back piece that spans from his neck to the back of his knees.
His tattoo incorporates a large porcelain Hannya, Dragon and Peony flowers.
To be given such a large space of skin is a massive compliment, and a privilege I don’t take for granted. Friendships that form between a client and tattooist can be some of the greatest outcomes through the tattoo process, a level of trust is formed that can be very different to other relationships one has in life.
As much as I love tattooing small tattoos, it is these large-scale projects that I really enjoy from start to finish.
